Jack's first year has gone by so fast. It is quite hard to believe he is a year old now. That is, until you play with him. :) He is going to be such a wonderful little boy. It will be exciting to see the next years unfold.
We love you Jack! Happy Birthday!

Chistmas!
I know this video is rather long. I just couldn't decide what to cut and in the end I didn't want to cut any of it.

Ketchup
So, Ellie and Michael were playing in the front room tonight when Michael started to 'eat' Ellie. "Mum, Yum, Yum! Tastes like chicken!"
In the midst of giggling Ellie said, "You need ketchup!"

So Tired
So, we were trying to put Ellie down tonight after a long day at church and no nap after. She was extremely tired. She was crying and saying, "I no go night night!" After realizing that we were serious she got in her bed and started screaming, 'I no go night night! I no go night night!" In the middle of her 'night' she yelled-yawned. It was the weirdest and cutest thing I have ever seen. Michael and I started laughing right in the middle of her good-night song, but we managed to finish it alright. Wish you all were there or that we had a camera going!

Ellie has a Doggie
Ellie has a doggie that keeps eating all her owwies. I don't know where it came from, but she is convinced that her owwies come from a dog. About two minutes after an 'owwie' happens is when the story changes to the dog. She doesn't hate dogs, though. She loves them. Both Ellie and now Jack love to play 'doggie.' Kids really come up with the darnedest things.

Halloween
Just so you know. We were the same thing for Halloween we were last year. Jack was Gollum (grey clothes and a loin-cloth), Ellie was Frodo, Michael was Aragon (new wig) and I was Eowin (or however you say/spell the Elf-princess' name).

Fun at the Babcocks Part 2
So, Halloween video coming up and even more fun moments...
This video is a compilation of all the pictures Ellie has taken. Well, all the ones that aren't too blurry or a close up of our carpet. They get better and better as you get towards the end because she figured out how things worked. I think she may have a talent.
Enjoy

Fun at the Babcocks
We've had lots of little cute moments. Here are a few. There are a lot more to come.
As I was doing the video I realized that Jack's laugh changes. I think he knows he's going to be Gollum for Halloween. :)

Night, Night Jesus!
Just so you all know. I am making another video. I'm just finding it hard to do all the things expected of me (church callings, household chores, mothering...) and finding time for my hobbies. It's on the way though.
In the mean time, I thought I'd share what Ellie did this morning. In my closet I had a 6 inch statue I painted of Christ with two kids and a sheep. I've kept it in my closet since the move because I really don't know where to put it. We don't have that much by way of furniture yet and not a lot of shelf space either. Anyway, Ellie found it this morning as I was getting ready. She decided that Jesus must be tired and wanted to put him 'night-night.' So she took the statue into her room, put it on her pillow, draped a blanket about it and started singing Silent Night. Then she closed the door while saying, "Night night Jesus. Love you! Have fun!"
